A. J. Cook is a Canadian actress known for portraying the character Jennifer "JJ" Jareau on the popular police procedural crime drama TV series Criminal Minds. She is also known for playing such film characters as Mary Lisbon from 1999's The Virgin Suicides and Kimberly Corman from 2003'sFinal Destination 2.
Personal Life
In 2001, she and her long-time boyfriend Nathan Andersen tied the knot. The couple's first child, a son named Mekhai was born in 2008. In 2015, they had another son, who they named Phoenix.
Trivia
As a young child, she suffered from astigmatism, which made her legally blind. However, she underwent a successful surgery that corrected the eye problem.
She was placed at the 88th position on the 2014 Maxim Hot 100 list.
