2002 World Series Champion Adam Thomas Kennedy is an American-born former baseball player who plays as a second baseman. The baseball player has played for popular teams such as Washington Nationals and Seattle Mariners.
Growing Up
The baseballer lived out his youth in California and enrolled in John W. North High School, where he graduated and moved on to Cal State Northridge.
Kennedy led the nation in hits as a sophomore and junior until he was drafted professionally by the St. Louis Cardinals.
Career
The second baseman made his professional debut with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1999 before joining the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from 2000 to 2006. His long spell with the team ended in 2007 after returning to the St. Louis Cardinals in 2008. Oakland Athletics was his next stop in 2009 till he moved on to Washington Nationals in 2010. Seattle Mariners was his next team in 2011 till he finally moved to Los Angeles Dodgers until his retirement in 2012.
Personal Life
The baseball star married Lyndi Kennedy, and they have 2 children as of 2021.
