Adnan Khashoggi is a Saudi Arabian businessman who was one of the world's most well-known arms dealers in the 1960s and 1970s. By the 1980s, he had made billions of dollars and joined the ranks of the world’s richest men. He is also known for heading the now bankrupt company Triad Holding Company.
Family Life
He is the son of Muhammad Khashoggi, who was the personal physician of King Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman of Saudi Arabia. He grew up with two sisters: Samira Khashoggi and Soheir Khashoggi, who is a famous writer. His first marriage was to Sandra Daly, with whom he had five children. His second marriage was to Laura Biancolini (Lamia Khashoggi).
Trivia
His sister Samira was the mother of Dodi Fayed, who was the lover of Diana, Princess of Wales.
In 2011, he was embroiled in an international money laundering case.
