About AJ Rafael
AJ Rafael’s journey to greatness started in 2003 when he uploaded a song on his Myspace account. Two years later, he participated in the reality series “American Idol” which placed him on the international stage.
After uploading a number of his songs on the internet, the Filipino-American singer released an EP in 2010 which was named “Juicebox”. The following year, he issued his maiden album dubbed “Red Roses”.

Rafael has rightfully utilized the internet to his benefit. Starting his career on the “Myspace” platform, he has also shared many interesting works on his self-titled YouTube channel which he created in 2006. Aside from his songs, Rafael has also uploaded some hilarious content on his channel.
He’s also active on Instagram where his personal content is loved by his numerous followers. He’s also very popular on Twitter.
Other works
In 2018, he organized the first edition of the talent show dubbed “Crazy Talented Asians”. The competition is aimed at developing Asians in the creative art industry. He’s also known for his philanthropic works and has worked with some non-profit organizations like Autism Speaks.

His full name is Arthur Joseph Rafael and he was raised by his parents Shirley Rafael and Arturo "Jun" Rafael. He grew up alongside three sisters named Aileen, Jasmine, and Justine. In 2020, he engaged Alyssa Navarro.
Education
He studied at Vista Heights Middle School and continued at Canyon Springs High School. He’s a product of Berklee College of Music.
