Frederick Winslow Taylor was a popular figure during the Progressive Era, which was between the 1890s and 1920s. He’s credited for playing a role in the transformation of industries across the globe. In 1911, he published a book titled “The Principles of Scientific Management” which has served as a guidebook for lots of engineers over the years.
