Isabella Stewart Gardner was an art lover who founded the ‘Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum’ in 1903. The institution has grown to become one of the famous art centers in the world with many American, European, and Asian works.
Due to her love for arts, she supported many artists including Dennis Miller Bunker, John Singer Sargent, and Okakura Kakuzo. The American philanthropist also embarked on many travels in an attempt to explore different cultures and arts.
