About John Davidson
John Davidson is a man of many talents. Though he is famously known for hosting game shows, the American entertainer is also admired for his career in both film and music industries. He shot to fame in the 1960s when he presented a number of TV shows including “The Kraft Summer Music Hall”.
He has gone on to host other popular television programs including “The $100,000 Pyramid” and the “Time Machine”.
Music and acting career
Davidson earned his first film role in 1967’s “The Happiest Millionaire”, he starred as Angier Buchanan Duke. Moving forward, the highly-rated TV star has appeared in many films including “The Genuine”, “Original Family Band”,” One and Only“ and "The Concorde ... Airport '79”.
On the music scene, Davidson has recorded over ten albums. He issued his maiden project dubbed “The Young Warm Sound of John Davidson” in 1964. Throughout his career, he has worked with many record labels including Columbia Records and 20th Century Records.
Family
His parents are Baptist ministers. The entertainer divorced his first wife Jackie Miller in 1982, and married Rhonda Rivera the following year. From his two marriages, he has raised three kids named John Jr., Ashleigh, and Jennifer.
Education
Davidson studied at White Plains High School and continued at Denison University.
