About John Stallworth
Ex-American football player John Stallworth was an outstanding wide receiver during his playing career. One of the most excellent wide receivers in NFL history, he spent 14 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League.
In 1974, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected him in the fourth draft round after seeing him play college football at Alabama A&M University. He continued to be an essential member of the club during the subsequent years, helping them win several championships and gaining widespread acclaim. In 2002, the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrined him, recognizing his outstanding contributions.
