She is a Canadian musician who has made a name for herself for her talent.
Personal Life
She grew up travelling the world because her father was a Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. She expressed interest in music when she was really young and started learning how to play the violin and continued for over a decade. Her brother owned records by Bob Dylan and Neil Young which she listened to a lot of the time. She got through high school but did not attend secondary school because she decided to focus on music. She met Colin Cripps who was a guitarist and in 2004, they got married but their marriage ended in 2011 and she started seeing Justin Vernon who was also in the music scene but that relationship ended too.
Career
She released the EP “Building 55” in 1999 and started touring Canada in the year 2000. In 2005, she worked on “Back to Me” and made it public. Some of the albums she has worked on include “Asking for Flowers”, “Total Freedom” and “Voyageur” and some of her singles are “It Must Have Been Love”, “I Make the Dough, You Get the Glory” and “One More Song the Radio Won’t Like”.
