About Marc Martel
Marc Martel is a celebrated Canadian singer who’s largely known for his association with the Christian band called Downhere. He helped the band to release a number of albums such as “So Much for Substitutes”, “Ending Is Beginning”, and “On the Altar of Love”. Some of the bands popular songs that he played a part in include "Larger Than Life", "Calmer of the Storm", and "Little Is Much".
After leaving the band, in 2012, he embarked on a solo career and released his debut Extended Play titled “The Prelude” the following year. Some of his other EPs are titled “The Silent Night”, “The First Noel”, and “Christmas is Here”.
Family
He was raised by his parents namely Barbara Beresford Martel and Michel Martel. At a point in his life he got married a lady known as Crystal.
Achievements
As a member of the Downhere band, Marc won multiple awards during his time with the band which includes GMA Canada Covenant Awards, GMA Dove Awards, and Juno Awards.
Trivia
He formed the band with some of his close buddies in 1999.
He has appeared in lots of television shows including “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”.
His voice was used for the character, Withered Foxy, in the video game entitled “Five Nights at Freddy's World”.
