Career
He started as a newspaper reporter and in 1994, just at the age of 29, he became the youngest national newspaper editor when Rupert Murdoch appointed him editor of the News of the World.
Personal Life
He was married to Marion Shalloe from 1991 to 2008. The marriage produced three sons. He married his second wife Celia Walden in 2010. Celia gave birth to a daughter in November 2011.
