Personal Life
The name he was given at birth was Robin Douglas Leach and he was the son of a sales executive by name Douglas Thomas Leach and Violet Victoria Phillips.
He was enrolled in Harrow County School for Boys where he exhibited his talent for writing and became the editor of Gayton Times; the school’s magazine. Before he got to sixteen years of age, Leach had started working for the Harrow Observer.
In 1968, he and Judith Desser got married but about nine years later, the marriage ended. As at the time of the divorce, they had birthed three sons.
Career
As mentioned earlier, Leach started working at an early age and by the time he was eighteen years old, he had started working for the Daily Mail as a reporter. Not long after, he started working for different media houses including Ladies’ Home Journal and New York Daily News.
He hosted "Runaway with the Rich and Famous” and also “Fame, Fortune and Romance”. In the world of acting, he got featured in “Boy Meets World”.
Death
He suffered a stroke in 2017 and while he was recuperating, he suffered another stroke the following year and four days later, it claimed his life.
