About Ryan Miller
Ryan Miller’s entry into the National Hockey League (NHL) happened in 1999, after the Buffalo Sabres team selected him during the draft. He officially played with the team in the league from 2002 to 2014, when he was traded to the St. Louis Blues.
Miller, who is considered as one of the NHL’s most successful goaltenders in history, also played for the Vancouver and Anaheim Ducks until his official retirement at the end of the 2020/2021 season.
Family Life
He was raised in East Lansing, Michigan alongside his brother, Drew who also played in the NHL. Their father’s name is Dean Miller.
Since 2011, he has been married to Noureen DeWulf, an American actress known for her roles in films like “The Back-up Plan” and “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past”. Their son, Bodhi was born in 2015.
Achievements
He received the NHL Foundation Award, and the Vezina Trophy in 2010. On the international level, he was the MVP of the 2010 Winter Olympics ice hockey tournament.
Trivia
He co-founded the Steadfast Foundation (a cancer support organization) with his father in 2006.
