About Stephen Tobolowsky
Stephen Tobolowsky performed as a musician with A Cast of Thousands group before starting his career as an actor. He made his debut in a 1976 stage production entitled “Paris” performed by the Meredith Monk Dance Company. Since then, he has been featured in more than 200 films and loads of television programs.
He’s widely recognized for his role in “Groundhog Day” where he appeared as Ned Ryerson. He has also gained fame for playing Oak in “Blue Skies” and in “Dweebs” as Karl.
Family
He grew up alongside a brother who he shared lots of memorable moments with. He has been married to actress Ann Hearn since 1988, and together they have two kids.
Education
Before starting his education at Southern Methodist University, he was a student of Justin F. Kimball High School. He further attended the University of Illinois for his master’s program.

He was one of the writers of the 1986 film titled “True Stories”.
