Steve Young is a retired American football player famous for his glittering National Football League (NFL) career from 1985 to 1999, during which he played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the San Francisco 49ers. He is regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of NFL.
Personal Life
He got married to former model Barbara Graham in 2000 and fathered three children with her.
Achievements
He won the NFL Most Valuable Player Award twice and was named Super Bowl XXIX's Most Valuable Player.
He was inducted into both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001 and 2005 respectively.
While a member of the 49ers, he helped the team win three Super Bowls.
In 2008, in honor of his achievements, the 49ers retired his #8 jersey number.
