About Tom Scholz
Donald Thomas Scholz is a multitalented individual who functions as a musician, inventor, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. He hails from America. Scholz is the only original surviving member of Boston, an American rock band.
Career
He is the founder of Scholz Research & Development, Inc. Prior to his music career, he was a professional mechanical engineer. He started recording songs in 1969. Scholz’s released solos and albums include “Don't Look Back” in 1978, “Third Stage” in 1986, “Corporate America” in 2002, “Life, Love & Hope” in 2013 and “More Than a Feeling” in 1976.
Education
He was educated at Ottawa Hills High School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Family
He is the child of Don Scholz. In 1970, he married his first wife named Michelle. Later, in 2007, he married Kim Hart, his second wife.
Awards
He was awarded a Compassionate Action Award by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in 2013.
Trivia
For over thirty years, he has been a vegetarian.
In 1987, he founded a charitable foundation called the DTS Charitable Foundation.
