About Tony Visconti
Grammy Award winner Tony Visconti is globally known for his long association with English singer David Bowie. He teamed up with the singer to produce many successful albums including 2016’s “Blackstar”.
The American producer started his career in the 1960s as an employee of the Richmond Organization. His breakthrough came in 1968 when he was invited by Denny Cordell, a British producer, to help him on an upcoming project for singer Georgie Fame.
Since then, Visconti has worked on many hit songs and albums including T. Rex's 1970 track titled "Ride a White Swan", and Angelique Kidjo's 8th studio album dubbed “Djin Djin”.
Personal Life
His 1971 marriage to singer Mary Hopkin lasted for a decade. Their union produced two kids named Morgan Visconti, and Jessica Lee Morgan who’s also known to be a singer. He had two children with May Pang before their marriage came to an end in 2000. He has also been in a relationship with singer Kristeen Young.

He’s a product of New Utrecht High School.
Awards
He won the “Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical” prize at the 2017 Grammy Award.

He started playing the ukulele at the age of five years.
