Torii Hunter is a retired professional baseball player from the United States who is regarded as one of the most gifted players of all time due to his ability to play both center and right field. He began his baseball career at the age of eight and succeeded at all levels of junior baseball until being drafted by the Minnesota Twins to play professional football in 1999.
Later in his career, he represented many high-profile clubs, including the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. He also played for the Detroit Tigers, and won numerous awards and accolades. He is also renowned for his humanitarian works.
