About Won Bin
In spite of Won Bin’s appearances in a very limited number of films and television series over a 2-decade period, he remains one of South Korea’s most successful and popular actors.
Having made his acting debut through a television series in 1997, he gained attention within other Asian countries three years later when he played Han Tae-Suk in the television drama series “Autumn in My Heart”.
He also went on to appear in box office hits such as “Taegukgi”, “The Man from Nowhere” and “Mother”.
Family Life
He grew up in Gangwon Province’s Jeongseon County, South Korea, alongside four siblings. He has been married to actress Lee Na-young since 2015. They have a child together.
Achievements
He has been decorated by the Baeksang Arts Awards, Chunsa Film Art Awards, Korean Film Awards and Grand Bell Awards.
Trivia
He became a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2007.
