About Yui Horie
Japanese singer and voice actress Yui Horie began her career in 1997 when her voice was used in the “Voice Fantasia: Ushinawareta Voice Power” video game. Since then, she has been featured in over 300 animated productions and numerous promotional works.
Some popular anime series that she has been involved in are “Witchy PreCure!”, “Miss Monochrome” and “Love Hina”.
As a musician
Horie began her journey in the music industry in 1998 with her first single titled "My best friend". Two years later, she dropped her first studio album which was under the name “Mizutamari ni Utsuru Sekai”. Some of her successful albums are “Rakuen” and “Honey Jet!!”
Education
She studied at the Japan Voice Acting Institute.
Awards
In 2010, she received the “Best Supporting Voice Actress” prize at the Seiyu Awards. She has also won the Namco Prize.
