Notable Facts
Before serving as Goodrich C. White Professor of Science at Emory University, he taught at the University of California, Berkeley from 1977 to 1983. In 2013, he became a member of the Academia Europaea. Four years later, he was appointed fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Professor Hill's Research
He focused on creating a library of “first-in-class potent anti-cancer chemotherapeutics.” His research embraced elementary structural and reactivity studies, functional nanomaterials and conversion of solar energy.
Honors
He was awarded an ACS Herty Medal in 2009 and was elected a GIAN (The Global Initiative for Academic Network) Fellow in India in 2017.
