The right-handed batter made his debut for Western Australia from 1969 to 1970. He later signed on to the Tasmania cricket team for the 1987/88 season. In 1988, he sealed a move to Northamptonshire.
Lillee made his debut for the Australian National team in 1971 and played till 1983.
