About Dick Cheney

Dick Cheney is a politician and entrepreneur known for being the 46th Vice President of the United States, under President George W. Bush. He served as Vice President from 2001 to 2009. He played instrumental roles in the Bush Administration's War on Terrorism and supported the Iraq War. He is widely regarded as the most powerful Vice President in the entire history of the United States.

Family Life

He is the son of Marjorie Lorraine and Richard Herbert Cheney. He married Lynne Cheney in 1964. He and Lynne had two daughters, Elizabeth and Mary.

Trivia

In February 2006, he accidentally shot Harry Whittington while hunting at the Armstrong ranch in Kennedy County, Texas. Whittington, however, survived the gunshot injury.
