Don Reid is a highly experienced American vocalist, country musician, songwriter, composer, and author who rose to prominence as a key member of The Statler Brothers, one of the most award-winning acts in country music history.
With a deep interest in music, he began his profession at a young age, working with his brother and two friends. They were encountered and handed their first record deal by Johnny Cash. He was a pivotal member in the band, helping them achieve worldwide success with a succession of successes that spawned a four-decade career in the music industry, including "The Best of the Statler Brothers", “The World of The Statler Brothers”, and “Pardners in Rhyme”. As a songwriter, he has penned numerous chart-topping singles of the band.
He has two children, Debo and Langdon Reid.
He has been married to Debbie Reid.
He was raised together with Harold Reid, his sibling.
