About Frank Oz
Frank Oz is an English-American puppeteer, filmmaker and actor known for his work on The Muppet Show, where he portrayed the characters Fozzie Bear and Miss Piggy. He is also known for his work on the popular children's television show Sesame Street, in which he played a number of Muppet characters such as Cookie Monster and Grover. He made his directorial debut in the 1982 film The Dark Crystal and went on to direct numerous films, including 1986's Little Shop of Horrors and 2007's Death at a Funeral.
Family Life
He was born to Frances and Isidore Oznowicz. He was married to Robin Oz from 1979 to 2005. He and Robin had four children together. His second marriage was to Victoria Labalme in 2011.
Awards
For his role on The Muppet Show, he won a Primetime Emmy Award as well as a Daytime Emmy Award.
