Mac McClung is an American basketball player who is a high-school athletic legend in his home state of Virginia. He has since gone on to have a notable, albeit injury-ridden, collegiate career at Georgetown University and after his sophomore year declared his eligibility for the NBA Draft.

His parents’ names are Lenoir and Marcus McClung. His dad played college football and trained him as a child.
His elder sister, Anna, holds the Virginia High School League’s (VHSL) record for soccer goals scored by a player.
His uncle, Seth McClung, was an MLB pitcher.
Achievements
McClung was named Southwest Virginia Boys’ Basketball Player of the Year on several occasions.
He broke a number of records, including one held by NBA legend Allen Iverson and another by NBAer JJ Redick, during his tenure in the VHSL.
He was recruited by five colleges coming out of high school and signed with the Georgetown Hoyas.
