About Oliver Pocher
German comedian Oliver Pocher began his career as a member of Holla-Bolla comedy group. In 1998, he appeared on his first television show. The following year, he hosted his first show entitled “Chart Surfer Trash Top 100, Was geht ab, Planet Viva”. His rise to stardom started in 2003, when he was named as the host of ProSieben “Rent a Pocher”.
Other works
Pocher is also into music. He established himself in the industry with his 2006 song "Schwarz und Weiß" which was devoted to the FIFA World Cup later that year. His other well-known songs include "Bringt ihn heim", which was a cover of Baschi "Bring en hei" and "Kennst du die Stars".
Legal issues
In 2005, the comedian was fined €6,000 by a Hanover-based court after he was sued by a woman who was a subject of Pocher’s comedy. He was again sued by German songwriter and singer Sarah Connor, but the legal battle ended after the comedian apologized.
Private Life
Between 2010 and 2014, he was married to Sandy Meyer-Wölden, a model. Three years after their divorce, he tied the knot with Amira Aly, a popular make-up artist.
Education
It has been speculated that he attended a local Waldorf school.

His numerous awards include the Golden Bravo Otto, Deutscher Comedypreis and Goldene Schallplatte.
Trivia
In 2007, he released an album dubbed “It's My Life – Aus dem Leben eines B-Promis”.
