About Reince Priebus
Reince Priebus launched his career as a lawyer with the Michael Best & Friedrich LLP law firm in Wisconsin. He began his political career by running in the 2004 Wisconsin State Senate election, which he lost. Three years later, he won the Wisconsin Republican Party chairmanship election. He also served as the Republican National Committee (RNC)’s general counsel from 2009 to 2011, when he became the RNC’s Chairman. In January 2017, he began serving as the 27th White House Chief of Staff after his appointment by Donald Trump. He resigned in July 2017.

He is the son of Richard, an electrician and Dimitra Priebus, a real estate agent. He has been married to Sally Sherrow since 1999. He is a father of two.
