Ferdinand Marcos was a Filipino politician. He served as the President of the Philippines from 1965 to 1986. He was a member of the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan party.

His Highlights/Legacy

He ruled under the declaration of Martial Law in 1972. He is widely regarded as a corrupted dictator. His actions led to the People Power Revolution in 1986, which removed him from power.

His Personal Life

He was married to Imelda Romuáldez and he had 4 children. His wife has the nickname Imeldific, because of her own political excesses. He died in Honolulu in 1989.
