About Paul Orndorff
Paul Orndorff initially began his career as a football player. He began playing in the now-defunct World Football League in 1975 after he joined the Jacksonville Sharks. After a year, he abandoned the sport to begin a career as a professional wrestler. He first competed under the Mid-Southern Wrestling promotion.
He became a global celebrity in the 1980s after he joined the famous World Wrestling Federation. He participated in the maiden editions of Survivor SeriesandWrestleMania. The American also made a name for himself under other promotions including World Championship Wrestling, Universal Wrestling Federation, and National Wrestling Alliance.
