Tubby Hall was an American jazz drummer. He started drumming at a younger age. He was noted for playing drums in several marching bands. Later, he was enlisted in the U. S. Army. Hall played for many bands of individuals such as Carroll Dickerson, Tiny Parham, King Oliver, and Jimmie Noone. Hall also featured in movies such as “A Rhapsody in Black and Blue” in 1932, and “I'll Be Glad When You're Dead, You Rascal You” in 1932.
