About Charles III
Charles III is the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and as such he inherited the British throne upon the death of the Queen, on September 8 of 2022, setting a record as the oldest monarch in the history of the United Kingdom.
Charles was born in 1948 and has held official royal positions since 1952. Since then, he has set a number of outstanding records. For instance, he has been heir apparent as well as Prince of Wales longer than any of his predecessors.

In 2005, Charles III married Camilla Parker Bowles. Before that, he was married to the late Diana, Princess of Wales (1961-1997). He and Diana had two children together, namely Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.
