About Charles Mingus
He was a talented American musician who was widely regarded as one of the finest jazz bassists of all time. He was also considered as a top pianist and composer. Throughout his career, which spanned for three decades, he collaborated with other jazz superstars such as Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, and Herbie Hancock. He released several albums with some titled “Mingus at the Bohemia”, “Blues & Roots” and “Town Hall Concert”.
